Windsor police say two men have been arrested following an incident early Monday.
Officers were called to Howard Avenue near the E.C. Row Expressway on a robbery complaint. The female victim told police that she agreed to meet a man whom she had met online.
When the woman entered the man's vehicle, there was a second man present.
Both men tried to touch the woman inappropriately. When the victim said she did not want sex and tried to call 911, one man allegedly choked her and stole her belongings. Both men then fled.
The two men were arrested about two hours later. Both of them, aged 23 and 20, are charged with sexual assault.
The 23-year-old is also charged with assault by choking and robbery.
The charges have not been proven in court.
