Second man arrested in Windsor homicide

A second suspect has been arrested after Windsor Police officers found an unconscious man with a fatal wound.

Police were called to the parking lot at Windsor Regional Hospital's Met Campus last Thursday. He was pronounced dead at the Emergency Department.

So far, police have not identified the victim.

The next day, police arrested 31-year-old Brandon Gerald Leigh of LaSalle and charged him with first-degree murder.

During the investigation, police identified a second suspect and arrested 25-year-old Robert Joseph Labrecque on Windsor Avenue just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Labrecque was picked up on outstanding warrants for breaching his probation and was charged with first-degree murder while in custody.

The investigation is ongoing, but police believe the three men knew each other and the incident is an isolated one.
