OPP arrest three impaired drivers, one after a crash

A 32-year-old Lakeshore woman faces impaired driving and dangerous driving charges after a crash on Saturday night on County Road 22 at East Pike Creek Road.

The OPP were called to the scene just before 10:30 p.m.

Police didn't say if anyone was hurt, but the woman was one of three drivers arrested for driving impaired over the weekend.

The woman has a court date on May 6 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.

Earlier on Saturday, OPP officers arrested a Cottam man after a traffic stop in Lakeshore. Around 2:30 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on County Road 22 near West Puce Road.

A 25-year-old driver is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle while being over the legal blood-alcohol concentration limit, and dangerous driving.

The third driver arrested is a 66-year-old man from Kingsville. The OPP arrested him just before 6 p.m. on Sunday while they investigated a traffic complaint on County Road 20 near McCain Side Road in Kingsville.

That driver also faces impaired and dangerous driving charges.

In all three cases, officers suspended the driver's license for 90 days and impounded their vehicles for a week.
