The Municipality of Leamington has reported that the major Seacliff Drive roundabout project is moving right along.
Work in the area of Clearwater Street is progressing faster than originally scheduled. Therefore, construction on the Seacliff Drive West roundabout is set to begin on Monday.
During this phase, Seacliff Drive West will be closed during the day and reopened each night, with local access permitted.
Starting in mid-April, Seacliff Drive West will close to through traffic at Sherk Street and Fraser Road for four weeks, allowing the remainder of the concrete work on the roundabout to be completed.
Access will be maintained in both directions. From the east, residents and businesses must reach Seacliff Drive by Sherk Street. From the west, access must be made via Fraser Road.
