Windsor police are investigating after a 65-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles.
According to police, the woman was crossing the street, mid-block, in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Lincoln Road around 10 p.m. Wednesday. An investigation determined the woman was struck by an oncoming vehicle, which propelled her into the opposite lane, where she was struck by a second vehicle.
The driver of the first vehicle stayed on the scene, but the second driver took off.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
There is no word of any charges at this time.
