Three Essex County men face impaired driving charges, two after two collisions last Friday.
The first call came in around 6:22 p.m. about a single-vehicle collision on Ojibway Parkway West between Hwy. 401 and the E.C. Row Expressway.
Officers arrested a 41-year-old LaSalle man and charged him with two counts of operating a motor vehicle while impaired.
Barely half an hour later, the OPP responded to a traffic complaint about a possibly impaired driver on County Road 22 near Commercial Boulevard in Lakeshore.
That time, officers arrested a 42-year-old Belle River man, who also faces two counts of impaired driving and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
After 9:30 p.m. that night, officers were called to a crash on County Road 8 near County Road 15 in Essex, where a vehicle went into a ditch.
Once again, officers responded and arrested the driver, a 69-year-old Kingsville man. He also faces two counts of impaired driving and one of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Officers handed each driver a 90-day license suspension, while their vehicles were towed to an impound yard for a week.
