Windsor police are looking for two suspects involved in a violent assault over the weekend.
Just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday, police were called to an apartment building on Sandwich Street near Detroit Street.
Officers were told that an argument between two men and two women escalated into a physical fight. The complainants reported that the female suspect began punching the female victim. When the male victim tried to intervene, he was punched and choked by the male suspect.
Both victims had non-life-threatening injuries, but one was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators say they are looking for a white man between 40 and 50 years old, around 5'10" tall with a medium build and grey facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black toque, a black t-shirt, and blue jeans.
They are also looking for a white woman, around 5'9" tall with a medium build and brown hair that was tied in a ponytail. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a grey t-shirt, grey jogging pants, and white running shoes.
