A 44-year-old man released from custody under strict supervision was re-arrested hours later.
Windsor Police arrested the suspect in April. He was charged with break-and-enter, possession of property obtained by crime, and two counts each of using a stolen credit card and fraud.
He was released from custody on May 20 on the condition that he stay at his home and submit to electronic GPS monitoring.
But during a routine compliance check, police found out the man was not staying home.
On Tuesday, the police arrested the man in the Pitt Street and McDougall Street area and charged him with eight counts of failing to comply with a release order.
