OPP lay charges after serious collision in Kingsville

A 47-year-old Windsor man is facing charges after a crash in Kingsville sent a man to hospital Saturday night.

The Ontario Provincial Police reports the two-vehicle collision happened just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 20 and McCain Side Road.

One driver, a 65-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was arrested and charged with driving while impaired, dangerous driving causing bodily harm, and operation causing bodily harm. A 90-day license suspension was also issued, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

In a separate incident, OPP charged another Windsor driving with impaired operation over the weekend after a traffic complaint in Lakeshore. The driver will appear in court in September to answer to the charges.
