Overnight work continues on the E.C. Row in Windsor

While many drivers in Windsor-Essex are sleeping, crews will be conducting work on the E.C. Row Expressway.

Beginning Monday night, the City of Windsor will conduct shoulder sweeping on the expressway between Huron Church Road and Banwell Road.

The work will be done between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. to reduce traffic delays.

There will be periodic rolling lane closures while crews perform the work, which is expected to be completed by Saturday, June 27.

Crews are also conducting overnight milling and paving work on the expressway between Central Avenue and Walker Road between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Meanwhile, work will also begin Monday night on traffic device installation on Central Avenue at the E.C. Row on and off-ramps.

There will be intermittent lane restrictions on Central Avenue. This project is set to be completed by Friday, July 3.
