A 45-year-old from Harrow is facing charges after a traffic stop led to an officer being assaulted.
The Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say it happened Tuesday night. According to police, officers conducted a traffic stop around 11:30 p.m. on Gore Road in Essex.
Following an interaction that turned violent, police arrested the driver.
A Harrow man is charged with dangerous driving, assaulting an officer, resisting an officer, and refusal to comply with a demand.
His licence has been suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
The charges have not been proven in court.
