Windsor Police say they foiled a suspect in the act of breaking into a business on Wyandotte Street West on Sunday.
Just before 5 p.m., officers were called to the business near Curry Avenue, where they discovered someone had broken a window to get inside.
Police say the suspect caused about $1,500 in damage by breaking lights and damaging the drywall. He also put items in a bag and put on an employee's sweater.
Officers surrounded the building, and the suspect was arrested inside.
A 22-year-old man faces a charge of break-and-enter with intent in a place other than a dwelling.
