The Canada Cup of Diving is returning to Windsor in 2027.
Diving Plongeon Canada, the City of Windsor, and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island have announced they have extended their partnership for a fourth year.
The Canada Cup of Diving is a World Aquatics Recognized Event and is one of the premier competitions on the AQUA Recognized Event circuit.
The Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre will once again host the 2027 event.
This time, admission for all spectators will be free, thanks to support from the city and TWEPI.
"Windsor has consistently demonstrated our ability to deliver an exceptional experience for Diving Plongeon Canada, its athletes, coaches, officials, families and fans," said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens. "This year, we are taking that experience even further by offering free admission to every session, making world-class sport accessible to everyone in our community."
By investing in free access, the city is creating new opportunities for residents and visitors to experience elite competition, while supporting local businesses and reinforcing Windsor's reputation as a premier sporting destination.
