Impaired driving charges laid in Harrow crash

A crash in Essex on Tuesday has resulted in impaired driving charges for a Harrow woman.

The Ontario Provincial Police were called to Dunn Road near County Road 13 in Essex around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, after a vehicle crashed into a pole.

Police arrested a 48-year-old woman. They've laid charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of impaired driving.

Meanwhile, the OPP arrested a 43-year-old Leamington woman after a traffic complaint.

Officers pulled over the vehicle on Erie Street South in Leamington just after 11 a.m. on Tuesday, and charged the woman with impaired driving by alcohol or drugs.

She will also lose her driving licence for 90 days while her vehicle sits in an impound lot for a week.
