Windsor fire officials remain on the scene of a fire near the downtown core.
Few details have been released, but Windsor Fire and Rescue reported that the fire broke out at a house on Janette Avenue near Riverside Drive East early Wednesday.
The fire was soon put out, with no reports of injuries.
Investigators from Windsor Fire and Windsor police have spent Wednesday morning looking into the cause and estimating damage.
"Please stay clear of the area and check you have working smoke alarms today," read a social media post from Windsor Fire.
