Advance voting in LaSalle's municipal election starts online on Friday, and the town wants to pass along some information before it starts.
It's reminding residents that voters need to be a Canadian citizen who is at least 18, and a resident, owner, or tenant in the Town of LaSalle. Non-residents who own or rent property, or whose spouse owns property in LaSalle are also eligible to vote.
Electors may only vote once.
Voters can cast a ballot electronically, get help casting their ballot, get their voter information card, or update voter information at the LaSalle Civic Centre starting Friday until Election Day on Monday, October 26.
The times are:
* Friday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* Monday, October 19, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* Tuesday, October 20, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* Wednesday, October 21, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
* Thursday, October 22, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
* Friday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* Monday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On Friday, October 23 and Election Day, LaSalle Transit Route 25 will be free to all riders accessing election services.
There's also a Pop-Up voter help centre at the Event Centre on Front Road on Thursday, October 22, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Residents who do not have a voter information card can still vote by providing valid government-issued identification.
LaSalle is also taking part in a study about internet voting by Brock University Associate Professor Nichol Goodman. Voters can choose to fill out a short survey after casting their ballots. All responses are anonymous.
