As the weather turns colder, the City of Windsor is closing public splash pads and seasonal washrooms in city parks.
Crews will carry out routine maintenance and inspections over the next month to ensure each splash pad is ready to reopen next May.
Parks staff will start winterizing park washrooms for the season by draining water lines, adding antifreeze where needed, and securing the facilities until spring.
All seasonal washrooms are expected to close for the season by mid-November.
Residents are encouraged to continue to enjoy Windsor's other park and recreational amenities throughout the fall and winter.
