A Wallaceburg man is facing weapons charges after a traffic stop in Tilbury.
The Ontario Provincial Police reported its Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement, Lambton County Detachment Community Street Crime Unit, the Emergency Response Team, and the Canine Unit stopped a vehicle in Tilbury on Tuesday and arrested 32-year-old Jonathan Clark from Wallaceburg.
Clark is charged with the following offences:
· Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
· Three counts of possessing a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order
· Carrying a concealed prohibited device or ammunition
· Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
· Resisting a peace officer
· Operation of a vehicle while prohibited under the criminal code
· Failure to comply with a release order
