Heavy snow leads to long list of closures across Sarnia-Lambton

Heavy snow and gusty winds up to 60km/h have prompted a number of agencies and businesses to stay closed on Thursday.

The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) and St. Clair Catholic District School Board (SCCDSB) both decided to keep schools closed for the day after buses were cancelled in all zones.

Lambton College will move all course learning to remote learning. This includes all classes and services at the main campus, Fire School, Skills Trade Training Centre, EarlyON Child and Family Centre and Community Employment Services.

The college will remain open.

West Region OPP said in a post to social media to avoid unnecessary travel if possible.
