The Sarnia Sting and Lambton College are continuing their strong partnership.
The OHL club's fourth annual Lions Night is coming up Thursday, January 15 at Progressive Auto Sales Arena, spotlighting Lambton College students who are having a positive impact in the community.
The Sting will be wearing special edition Lambton College jerseys as they take on the Soo Greyhounds, and fans are encouraged to wear blue.
They'll be auctioned off online after the game, with proceeds going to support student success and wellness at the college.
The Sting's Chuck-a-Puck fundraiser will be raising money to support student mental health initiatives at the college. Fire school students will also conduct a boot drive in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
There will also be a campus pop-up shop, fun intermission games, charity challenges, free temporary tattoos, t-shirt tosses, and opportunities to win prizes.
Lambton College President and CEO Rob Kardas is excited.
"Lions Night at Sting is a reflection of our outstanding partnership with the Sarnia Sting,” said Kardas. “From experiential learning opportunities in our Sports and Recreation Management and Community Integration through Cooperative Education programs to collaborative events like Lions Night, this partnership continues to create meaningful connections in the Sarnia-Lambton community."
Sting Vice President of Business Operations Jake Bourrie said it's a celebration of a partnership they're genuinely proud of.

Wearing the Lions jersey is a special way for our organization to show that pride and welcome students, staff, alumni, and fans for a great night together."
