St. Clair Township volunteer firefighters were kept busy responding to three calls on Sunday.
Just after 4 p.m., Chief Richard Boyes said they were called to a shed fire on Riverside Drive in Corunna.
"It was a very small fire in a garden storage shed, might be $1,000 damage," Boyes said.
A cause was still being investigated.
"It's unknown at this time. I have my suspicions, but I can't prove it," Boyes said. "It's not a suspicious (deliberate) fire."
Crews were on scene for just under an hour and no injuries were reported.
"The homeowners were away and the neighbour saw the smoke and called it in," he said. "We got there very quickly and it was a very small fire, just up the front of the shed."
In addition to the fire call, Boyes said his crews responded to two motor vehicle crashes.
In the morning, he said one person was taken to hospital with injuries after a motorcycle and car collided on St. Clair Parkway near Charlton Street in Courtright. The severity of the individual's injuries was unknown.
Boyes said two more people were taken to hospital in the afternoon, with what were believed to be minor injures, when two vehicles collided at Highway 40 and Rokeby Line.
