The annual Bright's Grove Music Fest returns this weekend with an amazing lineup of artists including Hayden Mellon, 402 West, Big Shiny Toons, Painkiller Jane, and Song Machine.
The two-night festival features 10 different acts, as well as plenty of food and craft vendors at Kenwick Park.
"We've got local vendors, we've got food, we've got Rondo's Pizza, Mr. Chip, Bubbles Ice Cream, Kuya Jays, and possibly more. Of course, Sarnia-Lambton Rebound will be there. They'll have their Mustang convertible that we've seen, and we'll have our title sponsor, Momentum Realty page. I believe they may be giving away a Blackstone grill, so have to go and talk to those guys, as well as we have a variety of local craft vendors," said Brights Grove Music Fest Director James Snider.
It is $10 to get in, while kids 12 and under have free entry and all proceeds go to local charities. This year's charity of choice is Sarnia-Lambton Rebound.
"We'll rotate around each committee member who will take a turn each year when trying to pick a charity. We've really struggled because there are a lot of charities that are close to the hearts of individuals on our committee, so this way each committee member can choose something that really means something to them," said Snider.
The all-ages event is made possible by sponsors.
"I would like to make a big shout out to all the sponsors that make the event happen. Even reflecting back on year one, trying to get this off the ground, and just getting the support was overwhelming," Snider added.
Gates open both Friday and Saturday at 3:30 p.m., and music starts at 4 p.m.
Attendees are permitted to bring along a lawn chair.
Organizers also said that while re-entry to the park is permitted, it is not guaranteed should they reach capacity.
