UPDATE: Windsor police continue to seek vehicles in west-end shooting

Windsor police have released an additional image of one of the vehicles sought in connection with a weekend gunfire incident.

Officers were dispatched shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday to Bruce Avenue near Wyandotte Street West. They found several spent casings in the area.

No one was hurt, and police believe this was a targeted incident.

The Major Crimes Unit has reported two vehicles that may have been involved. The first is described as a newer model white Jeep Cherokee, and the second as a silver Honda sedan.

On Tuesday evening, police released an additional security-camera image of what is believed to be the Cherokee.

Anyone who may have witnessed what happened, or has information or camera footage from between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday, is asked to give Windsor police a call.

Those with information should call the Windsor police's Major Crimes Unit at (519) 255-6700, extension 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
