Windsor Police are looking for suspects after pedestrians were struck by vehicles in two separate incidents.
Both happened on Tuesday.
Police were called to Reginald Street near Ford Boulevard around 1:30 p.m., where a pedestrian was struck by a red Dodge Ram or Ford F-150 pickup truck. The driver did not stop.
Around 7 p.m., officers were called to another hit and run, this time in the intersection of Wyandotte Street West and Wellington Avenue.
A woman was walking through the crosswalk when a dark grey or black SUV struck her, knocked her down, and drove over her leg.
The driver stopped, but only briefly, and fled.
The suspect in that incident is described as a black man between 25 and 45 years old, tall with a slender build, and clean-shaven. He wore an orange reflective jacket, a multi-coloured toque, glasses, and blue jeans.
Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators ask anyone in those areas to check their surveillance or dash cam footage for evidence that may help with the investigation.
