Roseland Golf Club Limited and its board will be dissolved next year.
The City of Windsor announced it is making the changes in accordance with changes to provincial legislation that requires all social companies covered by the act to be dissolved by October 19, 2026.
The board will continue to operate until that time.
“In moving forward with this decision, the City is following provincial requirements to continue seamless operations at Roseland Golf Club, maintain transparency, and ensure the long-term success of our award-winning golf course," said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens. "Council looks forward to continuing to offer a world-class golf experience at Roseland, along with the challenging course around Little River.”
Effective October 18, 2026, oversight of Roseland Golf Club and Little River Golf Course will continue under the city's Community Services Division.
"“On behalf of the Roseland Board of Directors, I look forward to working with Council, Community Services, and the City of Windsor on this seamless transition of operational oversight at Windsor’s golfing gem — the Roseland Golf Club, along with the Little River Golf Course," said Councillor Gary Kaschak, chair of the Roseland Board of Directors.
The city states all services, amenities, and experiences at Roseland Golf Club and Little River Golf Course will continue as usual.
All staff will also become employees of the Corporation of the City of Windsor.
Roseland Golf Club has an 18-hole championship Donald Ross golf course and a challenging 9-hole par 3 course.
