Detour planned for bridge work in Lakeshore

Starting this Friday, the intersection of Rochester Townline Road and Lakeshore Road 302 will be closed for up to six weeks.

The Municipality of Lakeshore is completing bridge work in the area as the last project of Lakeshore’s 2025 Bridge Rehabilitation Program.

Traffic will be redirected to County Road 2 to the North, County Road 42 to the South, County Road 31 to the West and County Road 35 to the East.

Road restoration will be completed once the bridge work is done. Temporary asphalt will be used until the final work can take place in the spring.
