Hockey fans will have a chance to see most of the game's trophies at a junior B game on Sunday, without going to Toronto.
The LaSalle Vipers are hosting a Hockey Hall of Fame trophy display at the Vollmer Complex before their game against the Strathroy Rockets.
The display will raise money for the family of a local eight-year-old who is battling leukemia.
"This is a unique opportunity for hockey fans of all ages to experience the history of the game while coming together to support a local family in need," said Vipers General Manager John Nelson. "We’re proud to host an event that combines community spirit, hockey tradition, and meaningful impact."
The display will include international & NHL Awards, including the Conn Smythe Trophy, Clarence Campbell Bowl, the Art Ross Trophy, the Vezina Trophy, the Norris Trophy, the Presidents’ Trophy, the Four Nations Cup, 2004 World Cup, the Canada Cup, and others.
Doors open Sunday at 1 p.m., with the game's puck drop at 2:30 p.m. Following the game, fans will be able to "Skate With the Vipers".
Tickets are $5 for the trophy exhibit only, and $15 for the trophy exhibit and Vipers game. They can be purchased at the Vollmer Complex on Sunday. A $50 pass for a family of four or more to the exhibit and game is also available.
