The residential development on Roseland Golf Club property has been finalized.
The City of Windsor sold a portion of the property where the clubhouse is being demolished to Valente Development Corporation for the four-storey condo development.
The development will include 48 units ranging in price from $450,000 to $1-million. The majority of parking will be below ground.
"People who want to enjoy retirement living, who want to enjoy a beautiful golf course, that want to stay in South Windsor, that's my target buyer," said Developer Peter Valente.
The condo construction will start in the fall and be completed by 2028.

"He's talking about building something beautiful that we think is appropriate for this Donald Ross course, a beautiful golf course that we own in the City of Windsor. We want to make sure we keep this place special and do right by this place," said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens.
A public open house on the rezoning and official plan amendments for the development on the condo will be held on April 30 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex.
"It still has to go through a public open house and then it goes to committee and then to council," said Dilkens. "The public can come out and give some more feedback on the designs and what they see, and talk about the rezoning from a parking lot into residential."
The city sold 1.3 acres of the property as part of Housing Solutions Made for Windsor. The property was sold for $1.5 million. It will be used toward the clubhouse redevelopment, parking lot rehabilitation, and other golf course improvements.
The redevelopment of the clubhouse will continue in parallel with the residential development. The clubhouse is scheduled to be completed by summer 2027.
