City of Windsor mails out final property tax bill for 2026

The City of Windsor has mailed out the final property tax bill for the year, and is telling residents if they don't receive it by next Friday, call 311.

Due dates for regular tax payments are set for July 15, September 16, and November 18. Payments must be received by the City on or before the due dates. Those who fail to pay up could be charged penalties and interest of up to 15 per cent.

Residents can pay their property tax bill at an approved bank, credit union, or trust company, by telephone or online banking, or in the mail by cheque.

Residents can also drop off their payment in person at the drop-off box on the first floor at 350 City Hall Square.

The city also offers three pre-authorized payment plans that residents can enrol in anytime by visiting the Paying Your Taxes webpage.

Those who need assistance paying their bill can apply to the Tax Repayment Program, the Tax Relief Program, or the Tax Deferral Program.
