Windsor police are looking for a suspect who bit an employee while attempting to steal merchandise.
Officials report police were called to a convenience store on Wyandotte Street East near Parent Avenue around 7 a.m. on Tuesday after a panic alarm was activated.
Officers were told a woman entered the store, placed an item into her backpack and tried to leave without paying. When the store employee tried to stop her, there was a struggle. The employee was scratched and bit before the suspect took off with the stolen item.
The suspect is described as a white woman with short blonde hair. At the time of the incident she was wearing a grey and black long-sleeved shirt, black tights, pink flip flops, and was carrying a blue backpack.
