Windsor police say a contractor wanted on charges related to a fraud investigation has turned himself in.
Police announced on Wednesday morning that Jessie Flaricee, 41, surrendered at police headquarters just after 9 a.m.
He is alleged to have collected around $155,000 in deposits for home renovation work that was never completed.
During the course of the work, the Town of Amherstburg advised the homeowner to cease further construction on the house.
The home is reportedly in an uninhabitable condition.
Investigators report the business MBS Solutions was dissolved for non-compliance in November 2024.
Flaricee is charged with fraud over $5,000, obtaining funds by false pretences, and uttering a forged document.
