Windsor man charged in LaSalle with stunt driving

LaSalle police have ticketed a driver who found the need for speed on a local highway.

An officer from the Traffic Enforcement Unit was conducting surveillance on Highway 18 at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, when they spotted a white sedan and stopped it.

The police cruiser's radar device had clocked the vehicle going 103 kilometres per hour.

The 22-year-old driver from Windsor was charged with stunt driving.

Their licence was suspended for 30 days, with the vehicle towed from the scene and impounded for 14 days.

The driver will have a chance to respond at a later court date.
