Suspect charged in restaurant break-in

A 53-year-old is facing charges after a break-in at a west Windsor restaurant.

On November 23, someone forced open the back door of a restaurant on Wyandotte Street near Campbell Avenue. The suspect stole money and a laptop while inside the restaurant.

Surveillance video from inside the store showed the suspect wearing a red bandana that was partially covering his face.

The Windsor Police Target Base Unit identified a suspect, who was arrested on Tuesday on Howard Avenue.

The 53-year-old was charged with break-and-enter and wearing a disguise to commit an offence.
