The Ford Fireworks are coming up fast, and the City of Windsor wants to make sure everyone arrives at the riverfront safely, so it once again will have free bike parking.
The Ford Fireworks are set for Monday night once the sun sets.
Cyclists can park their bikes for free at a monitored bike parking service at Charles Clark Square, so residents can enjoy the show without worrying about bike thieves.
The city is encouraging residents to ride their bikes or take the bus instead of driving to the riverfront.
Meanwhile, for those taking the bus, Transit Windsor won't charge a fare after 6 p.m. on Monday night. Zehrs Markets is once again sponsoring free bus service.
Fireworks shuttle buses will also run from Devonshire Mall to downtown Windsor starting at 6 p.m. Shuttle buses will return to Devonshire Mall after the fireworks.
