Kingsville man faces child sexual exploitation charges

The Ontario Provincial Police have charged a Kingsville man in a child sexual exploitation investigation.

Last Thursday, the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Essex County OPP detachment searched two locations within Kingsville and seized several electronic devices.

"The OPP will continue to identify and pursue individuals who use technology to exploit children," said a release from the OPP. "Parents are reminded to take a proactive approach to help protect their children on internet safety."

As a result, 52-year-old Lee Lariviere was charged.

He's accused of accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, making child sexual abuse and exploitation material available, making child sexual abuse material, and arranging to commit a sexual offence against a person under 16.

The suspect is expected to appear in court next Tuesday at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.
